There’s a new extension to the eave at Nimbin Community Centre’s Figtree Building, and two Nimbin Central School students helped make it happen.
Cooper and Wren joined Andre for work experience, spending the day out in the sun and getting a hands-on look at building and construction. It was hot work, but they got stuck in, asked questions and proved themselves to be a great help on the job.
Work experience is a chance to find out what a trade is really like: the tools, the teamwork and the satisfaction of seeing a job finished. We loved being able to offer Cooper and Wren that opportunity here at the Centre.
