In March 2025 Lismore City Council (LCC) voted to disband the Nimbin Advisory Group, and instead created a Lismore Villages Advisory Group (LVAG) which comprises of twelve village representatives.
Two representatives from each of six village regions were appointed:
- Clr. Waters (Chair)
- Clr. Rob (Deputy)
- Clr. Jensen
- Clr. Dalton-Earls
- Clr. Battista
- Clr. Knight-Smith
The LVAG will meet quarterly at the Council Chamber from 2-4pm. Schedule for 2026 is 2nd Feb, 4th May, 3rd Aug and 7th Dec.
Group members are Max Pike and Gwen Trimble Nimbin, Denise Whitney Rural North West (Jiggi), Len Johnston and Craig Parish Richmond Hill/Lindendale, Lucy Kinsley Wyrallah, Col Baker and Adrienne Morgan Dunoon/Modanville, Des Harris, Tracey Whitby Clunes/Bexhill. Some positions are unfilled at the moment.
