Connect with young volunteers at Nimbin Central School’s Careers Day

Nimbin Central School

Nimbin Central School will host its annual Careers Day in late Term 1 or early Term 2, 2026 (date to be confirmed), and local organisations and volunteers are warmly encouraged to take part.

Careers Day is a valuable opportunity for community groups, not-for-profits and local organisations to connect with young people, share what they do, and open pathways into volunteering, work experience and future employment.

On the day, Training NSW will present a range of pathways and programs designed specifically for young people living in rural and regional communities like Nimbin. These sessions will highlight training options, preliminary experience, and the value of certificates and hands-on learning when building a CV.

Organisations are invited to host a stall and showcase opportunities such as:

  • Work experience placements
  • Volunteering and youth engagement roles
  • Entry-level pathways into training or employment
  • Skills development and, where applicable, recognised certificates

This is a chance to inspire young people, support their career exploration, and strengthen Nimbin’s culture of community involvement and mentorship.
