At Nimbin Youth, things flow a little differently — our space is shaped by young people, for young people. We’re just there to walk beside them — to support, feed, advocate for and love them as they grow into the next gen of our Nimbin community.
We’re open Wednesdays and Fridays, 3pm – 6pm and with a few more friendly faces we’d love to open even more days!
What happens in the space?
- Cook up toasties and share yarns
- Get creative with crafts and art
- Offer Wi-Fi, computers and chill space
- Be a steady, positive presence and mentor when invited
We’re looking for community-minded volunteers who enjoy being around young people — people who can show up with kindness, humour and an open heart 🙂
Requirements
- Working With Children Check (or willing to get one)
- A commitment to being consistent, reliable, present and meet young people where they’re at
