Special Jury Award – Nominated across most categories – Meet the nominee

For the volunteer who was nominated across the most categories. A volunteer so multi-skilled it doesn’t bear thinking about!

Stephanie Seckold
Steph is one of those people many in Nimbin describe as a true community treasure. She has been instrumental in setting up Seven Sibley Street, supporting sustainable practices, and shows up time and again across the village wherever help is needed. During MardiGrass, she takes on the tough, often unseen work — managing waste, sorting recyclables and hauling bins up and down the street to reduce what goes to landfill. People speak of her as someone who leads by example — hardworking, genuine and deeply committed, but also warm, humble and welcoming. Many share how she made them feel part of the community from the very beginning. Nominated across multiple categories, Stephanie embodies the spirit of them all — a quiet force of action, care and integrity in the heart of Nimbin.
